Patricia Clendenin Obituary

Patricia Lynn "Patty" Clendenin, 64, of New Haven, WV, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Riverside Hospital, Columbus, OH, following a brief illness.

She was born September 19, 1960, in Point Pleasant, WV, a daughter of the late Ronald Sr. and Betty Catherine (McNeal) Clendenin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Hazel "Faye" Mays and Margarette Clendenin. 

Patty was a 1978 graduate of Wahama High School. She previously worked as a Bartender at the Stewart Johnson V.F.W., Post 9926, Mason, WV, with over 20 years of service. Patty was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary and served as Treasurer. She enjoyed trips with the Auxiliary, spending time with friends, and loved being a grandma as well as spending time with her Cat. 

Survivors include her children, Kathy Clendenin (Jacob Bonecutter) of New Haven, Elizabeth Meihls and husband, Charles of West Columbia; brothers, Ronnie Clendenin Jr. and wife, Becky of Camp Conley, Bill Clendenin and wife, Nancy of Point Pleasant; sister, Twila Bass of Point Pleasant; grandchildren, Bryle, Preston, Carter, Skye, Averie; several nephews and nieces and brother-in-law, Junior Mays of Johns Town, OH. 

Friends may visit with the family from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Foglesong Funeral Home, Mason, WV.  

Due to the unexpected passing of Patricia, in lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to help with final expenses.
