JOHNSON CITY - Patricia Ann Caserta, 89, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024, in Johnson City, TN, surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death in 2013 by her husband, Lieutenant Commander Harold Caserta, USN, retired. Pat and Harold (Jack to his friends) spent many of their retired years in Pensacola, FL, enjoying golf and being in the company of many friends. Pat grew up in Corpus Christi, TX, and Jack was a native son of Covington, LA. They met while Jack was an instructor pilot at Naval Air Station Kingsville, TX, in 1953 and married in 1954.
They are survived in death by their daughter, Jackie Gilliam and husband Dean of Castle Rock, CO; sons, Commander Harold "Cas" Caserta, USN, retired and wife Theresa of Jacksonville, NC, and Charles "Dino" Caserta and wife Deborah of Johnson City, TN. They will be greatly missed by grandchildren, Dustin, Jonathan, Ben and wife Whitney, Zack, Cody, Chelsy, Max and fiancée Dee, Danielle; and great-grandchildren, Rohan, Dylan, and Jolene.
A private service will be held in Pensacola, Fl., in the spring.
