Died January 22, 2025, Columbia, MO

Patricia May Bryant, 80, of Columbia, Missouri, passed away on January 22, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Glencoe, North Carolina, Patricia was the daughter of Chris and Ometa (Waddell) Ray.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her sister, Brenda Shell (Joe). Patricia is survived by her sisters Judy Aumiller (Brad), Chris Mosley (the late Roger), Peggy Ray, and Sue Cox (David). She leaves behind her children Deanna Mroziewicz (Ryan), William Bryant Jr. (Melinda), and Leslie Durham (Terry), as well as her cherished grandchildren James Bryant (Jen), Nicholas Durham, and Benjamin Durham.

Patricia's life was defined by compassion and devotion to those she loved. She served her country proudly in the U.S. Marines, where she met her late husband, William, a member of the U.S. Air Force. They shared 58 years of marriage, until his passing on November 14, 2020.

Known for her love of music, Patricia could often be found dancing with William in the living room. She had a deep passion for reading and traveling, and her caring nature shone through in every job she held, all of which allowed her to help others. A devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, Patricia's love for her family was unparalleled. She was particularly fond of her grandchildren, who were the light of her life, and her beloved dogs, with Max holding a special place in her heart.

A private family service will be held at a later date, where Patricia will be cremated and laid to rest beside her husband, William, and her cherished dog Max on the family farm.

Patricia will be remembered for her unwavering kindness, her love for her family, and the many lives she touched throughout her lifetime.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to a local animal shelter in her honor.
