Pamela Tillery Obituary

Pamela Tyson Tillery was born in the height of spring on April 9, 1963 in Greenville, North Carolina. She crossed over to eternity on November 30, 2024. Pam, as she was affectionately known to many.
Pam was educated in the Pitt County Public School System and graduated from J. H. Rose High School in 1981. Pam took joy in making others around her happy. On April 21, 1983, she married her life partner and confidante, the late Arthur L. "Andy" Tillery. Pam was a very diligent worker and often made things happen behind the scenes with quiet confidence. As an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and bargain hunting fashionista, she loved fishing and was employed for over 27 years at the Leo Jenkins Cancer Center in Greenville, North Carolina.
In her own unique way, Pam had a way of making others feel good while being in her presence. She always had a word of encouragement or a funny story to share with those whose paths crossed hers. She never met a stranger and was well beloved by many.
Love and faith are part of Pam's legacy. As the daughter of the late Bobby and Beverly Parker Tyson, she leaves her memories to be cherished by her daughter, Dawnette Tyson (De'Andre) of Farmville, NC; son, Andrew Tillery (Racquel) of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren, Jasmine Spencer (Deshawn), De'Andre Spencer, Jr., Tyson Spencer, Kayden Tillery and Andrew Tillery, Jr; two brothers, Kelvin L. Tyson (Karen) of Raleigh, NC and Karsten Tyson of Savannah, GA; an aunt, Sheila Jenkins Taylor (Robert) of Raleigh, NC; niece, Morgan Barnes and nephew, Cole Tyson; as well as four sisters-in-law; a brother-in-law and a host of cousins, friends and other relatives
