Formerly from Limestone TN but had been residing with her daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Billy Watts, for the past several years. She was born in Chuckey, TN on January 10,1940. She attended Limestone United Methodist Church with her husband Bill Collette for many years. She loved her church family and the Limestone community.

She was survived by her three children, Rhonda Watts (Billy), John McGee Jr (Donna), and Jerry McGee (Rita), as well as, step-daughter Teresa Gibson (Allen). She was also survived by a brother, George Owens (Barbara) and grandchildren: Heather Thomas, Jodi Douglas, Lindsey Greenway, Brandy Willis, Jeremy McGee, and step-grandchildren: Jessica Gouge, Joshua Gibson, and Jennifer Tate. She also had many great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson that she loved dearly.

Nancy was proceeded in death by her parents, Mary Ann and Willie Owens, husband Bill Collette, and ten of her siblings: Desi Owens, Allen Owens, Edith Brown, Corina Peters, Louise Metcalf, Delmer Owens, Lonnie (Bud) Owens, Libby Hux, Bonnie Metcalf, and Lula Coggins.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Lakebridge Nursing Home, Amedisys Hospice of Johnson City, and Empire Cremation and Burial Services for their care. Family and friends will gather for a brief graveside service at Mountain Home National Cemetery in Johnson City, TN on February 17, 2026, at 14:00pm with nephew, Delmar Owens, officiating. In lieu of flowers, family has requested donations be made to Limestone United Methodist Church for their Mary's Meals program at 191 Opie Arnold Rd. Limestone TN 37681 or to Alzheimer's Tennessee based in East Tennessee.
