Mouvelene Edwards Obituary

LIMESTONE - Mouvelene Theo "Bobbie" Edwards, 89, of Limestone, went home to be with the Lord on Monday evening, January 8, 2023, at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was born to the late Orville and Letha (Rayney) Tilson.

Bobbie was a member of Limestone Freewill Baptist Church where she cleaned the church for twenty-seven years. Bobbie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and homemaker.

In addition to her parents, Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Edwards; son, Nathan Edwards; twin sister, Maxine Baldwin; and brother, Ray Tilson.

Survivors include her children, Reece Edwards (Clara), Dwight Edwards (Eula), Dwane Edwards, Donna Edwards, and Trina Chandley (Ken); nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; along with several nieces and nephews.

The Edwards family will receive friends on Saturday, January 13, 2023, at Limestone Freewill Baptist Church 3709 Old State Rte 34 Limestone, TN 37681 from 12 p.m. - 2 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Tim Broyles officiating. Committal Service and Interment will follow the Funeral in Limestone Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Bobbies' sons and grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Donations may be made to Trina Chandley 2681 Old State Rte 34 Limestone, TN 37681 for the care of Bobbies' daughter Donna.
