Michael Charles Weis August 30, 1968- July 5, 2024
ANDERSONVILLE - Michael Charles Weis passed away in his home on July 5, 2024, in Andersonville, TN. Michael was deeply loved by his children, Zachary Michael Weis of Knoxville, TN, Paige Catherine Weis of Johnson City, TN and his granddaughter, Vivian Faye Mullins who knew him as "Pappy." Michael loved his life on the lake and spending time with his family by sharing the joy he had with those close to him.
Michael was a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham Medical Technology Program in 1992.
Michael was 55 at the time of his death, he was preceded in death by his parents, George Francis Weis Jr and Gwendolyn Faye Waterman Weis as well as his brother John Weis. He is survived by his brothers Tom Weis of Charlotte, NC, Fr. Anthony Weis of Birmingham, AL and his sister Ellen Weis Stein (Blake) of Daphne, AL. He is also survived by 9 nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 1041 N Central Street, Knoxville, TN on July 12, 2024, at 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Isaiah 117 House. https://isaiah117 house.com/donate
