Michael Vanderford Obituary

Michael Scott Vanderford went Home to be with Jesus on Friday, August 25, 2023.

Born & raised in Flint Michigan, he came to East Tennessee, having a fondness for the beauty of the area, and he made his home here.

Michael was a talented flooring installer which allowed him to meet all types of people, who he made a point sharing his love of Jesus with. He was a talented tradesman who took pride in his hard work, which he enjoyed. It was very important to him to be his family's provider.

Left to cherish memory are his wife Sabrina Vanderford and his children, Michah Josiah and Bryelynn Faith, of the home, and his son Michael Aaron of Michigan. He's also survived by his wife's sisters, Makayla, Brianna, Marissa and Makenza Nickles (Rob Burrough), their children and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents Andrew and Katie Adams Vanderford, his sister Wanda Vanderford and his brother Larry Vanderford.

The family wishes to thank ES Dockery: Commercial Interior Finishing Company, for their friendship and support.

The family will receive friends from 3-5pm Saturday September 2, 2023 at Jeffers Funeral Chapel at Afton. The funeral service will follow at 5pm Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Keith Malone officiating.
