JOHNSON CITY - Michael Allen Guinn, 41, of Johnson City passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023 at his home.
Michael was a lifelong resident of Johnson City. When he attended Church, he went to Princeton Free Will Baptist Church. Michael was an artist & enjoyed playing the guitar, singing, and writing music.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Allen Carl Guinn.
Those left behind to cherish his memory include, Mamaw and Papaw. B. Keeva Ann and David Humphrey. Mother, Lori Ann Guinn. Brother, Jason Lee Guinn and wife Joni. The love of his life, Keyla Bare-Guinn. Special Uncle, Joey Humphrey and wife Penny. Uncle, David Guinn and wife Wendy. Aunts, Cindy Blackburn and husband Jimmy, and Teresa Wallin. Cousin, Dustin Humphrey and wife Chelsea, Jessica Smith, Addison Smith, and Kaylee Sawyer. Niece, Zoey Guinn. Friends, Keith Smith and David (PeeWee) Larimer. As well as numerous other family and friends.
The Funeral service for Mr. Michael Allen Guinn will be held Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the East Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Home, with Pastor Charlie Frazier officiating. A Visitation period will begin at 12:00 pm on December 30, and continue until service time.
The grave side service will be held December 30, 2023 in Hamlett -Dobson Memorial Park (2630 TN-75, Blountville, TN 37617) following the funeral service.
Pallbearers will include Jason Guinn, Keith Smith, Steven Martin, Brian Balthis, Joey Humphreys, Dustin Humphreys, and Gary Kemp.
The Family would like to extend a very special "Thank You" to Joey Humphreys for treating Michael like a son.

I knew Michael at a young age. He was a very talented young man. He had a voice of an angel. When he sang he made your heart melt. Heaven sure did get another angel. Peace my dear friend.
