CHUCKEY - Mrs. Melissa Cornelison Tipton Stuart, age 50, Chuckey, passed away at UT Medical Center on Thursday, April 6, 2023.
Melissa was born on November 20, 1972, to James and Susan Cornelison.
She was a graduate of David Crockett High School and East Tennessee State University. Melissa was a very bright and creative person. She was a talented pianist and loved playing. She was born and raised in Jonesborough and has spent all her life here. Melissa was of the Christian faith.
In addition to her parents, she leaves behind her husband, Donnie Stuart; her son, Rance Allen Tipton; stepdaughter, Whitney Laws; brother, Keith Cornelison; sister-in-law, Robin Sorrow Cornelison; niece, Lauren Cornelison; several aunts, uncles, and many friends.
A visitation to celebrate Melissa's life will be held at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home on Friday, April 14, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. There will be no formal service.
In Lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to your church, or favorite charity.
