Mavis McCracken Fellers March 24,1930- June 24, 2024
JOHNSON CITY - Mavis McCracken Fellers, 94, passed away June 24, 2024, at her home in Johnson City. She was born March 24, 1930, to the late Carl and Mary McCracken of Limestone.
She was preceded in death by a son, Tony E. Fellers, former spouse Ray P. Fellers. Four sisters; Mildred Broyles, Frances Adams, Earnestine Aiken, and Evelyn Fellers; Eight brothers; Pete McCracken, Tommy McCracken, Jerry McCracken, Carl McCracken Jr., JB McCracken, Kenneth McCracken, Robert McCracken, and Lynn McCracken.
Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Fellers Thornton, Johnson City and Jennifer Fellers, Lett of Duluth, Ga. Ten Grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews, two special friends, Evangeline Glass, and Wilma Donner.
She was a founding member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. She retired from Baxter Pharmaceutical. She loved flower gardening and was an excellent cook and baker for her family. Remembering her grandchildren with sweet birthday cards was especially important to her.
The family would like to express a special thank you to Amedisys Hospice for the wonderful care and niece, Sandra Davis for sweet visits and loving support.
A graveside committal service for Mavis McCracken Fellers will be held Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at 2 pm in the Oakland Presbyterian Cemetery, Telford with Rev. Ken Lytton officiating. Family and friends are requested to meet at the cemetery at 1:50 pm on Tuesday.

Aunt Mavis was a wonderful person. I have many memories of sitting on the porch at my Mamaw McCrackens when I was a kid With all My aunts uncles and cousins. Now all 13 of them are gone. Precious memories, my love and prayers to Sherry and Jennifer
