Mrs. Mary Emma Clark Slonaker December 27, 1931- June 6, 2024
JOHNSON CITY - Mrs. Mary Emma Clark Slonaker, age 92, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Christian Assisted Living of Johnson City.
Mary was born on December 27, 1931, to the late Robert and Edith Keefauver Clark.
She attended First Presbyterian in Johnson City where she sung in the choir. More than anything Mary loved the Lord Jesus Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Andrew Slonaker; sisters, Phyllis Keesecker Odom, Patti Barnett and Jane Stanewicz.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Dr. Daniel Andrew Slonaker (Ramona Cress) of Johnson City and John Timothy "Tim" Slonaker (Shea) of Nashville.
A Graveside Service was held at 2:00 PM, on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at Telford Cemetery with Pastor Jeremy Dykes officiating.
The family would like to send a special thank you to Aimee Markland and the staff of Christian Assisted Living and also Mary's care team at Gentiva Hospice.
