JOHNSON CITY - Mrs. Martina Hawk Smith, of Johnson City, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2023 at home. She was a resident of Johnson City.
Martina was married to Howard Jack Smith, who passed away in 2000. They were married for twenty-eight years and were members of Mountain View Baptist Church.
Survivors include adult children, Nancy Smith of Bluff City and Terry Smith of Orlando, FL; niece, Teah Smith; cousin, Shirley Cassidy of Coeburn, VA; and adopted granddaughter, Ashley Ollis, her husband, Scott, and their children, Blakelee, Jackson, and Jayma, plus her beloved dog, Gracie.
The family of Martina Smith will receive friends from 5pm to 6pm, Wednesday, February 15, at Mountain View Baptist Church in Johnson City. The memorial service will follow at 6pm.
Martina has always been an advocate of helping others, so the family requests that any memorial contributions be made to the charity of your choice.

Martina was such a sweet lady to grow up in church with. She always helped my mother Peggy Street after dad passed away. Prayers for her family during this loss.
