Martha Ann Shipley

October 17, 1944 - September 3, 2025

Martha Ann Shipley of Johnson City, TN, daughter of Fred and Hallie Benfield, passed away on September 3, 2025 at her home after a long fight with cancer. She is survived by her son Brad, daughter in law Olivia, and grandson, Connor, her sisters Pat and Mitzi, and her faithful dog Gizmo. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Shipley worked at a secretary until her retirement. She enjoyed helping others, going to yard sales, and spending time with family, friends, and her companion Gizmo. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Bennie Sue, brother Ashley, and ex husbands Willard and Don.

I´m so sorry to hear this. Martha was a very loving, kind person. My heart breaks to know that she is gone but yet I believe she is shouting in Heaven. I will miss you always. Love and prayers for her remaining family.
