Martha Kologiski Obituary

PINEY FLATS - Martha "Molly" Ann Kologiski, age 71, of Piney Flats, TN, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023, at her residence surrounded by family. She was born in Kansas City, Kansas. She was the daughter of the late Truman Schlup and Mildred Strother Schlup. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Samuel Schlup.

Molly was the CEO and Owner of Pride Communications or as she jokingly referred to herself as "El Presidente". She was an avid gambler who loved nothing more than a quick trip to Vegas. She loved to entertain and cook for her family and friends. She was incredibly talented in all the ways a person desires. There was no task or project that she couldn't perfect. Molly had a knack for interior design and loved to decorate for each holiday, especially Christmas.

Molly was incredibly blessed to marry the love of her life, Ron. Together they built a beautiful life and experienced many adventures traveling all over. She fiercely loved her seven children and dedicated her life to their happiness. She was like a mother to many of her children's friends and always treated them like her own. She had a great love for animals, especially her many cats she had throughout her life. Molly was a great listener and always gave the best advice. Her quick wit, understanding nature, and generosity were unmatched. Molly was an incredibly strong soul who never wavered in her beliefs.

She is survived by her husband of almost 50 years, Ronald Wilbur Kologiski, who never left her side; seven children, Skip Kologiski and wife Jane McMillan, Christopher Scott Kologiski and girlfriend Jessica Haynes, Ronald Truman Kologiski and wife Sandra Pratezina, Nicholas Lee Kologiski and girlfriend Jacqueline Restrepo, Stephen Gregory Kologiski, Amanda Kologiski Shipley and husband Chris, and Ruthie Elizabeth Kologiski and boyfriend Rico Vaquero; and nine grandchildren, Jonny Kologiski, Deakin Shipley, Noah Jones, Ava Kologiski, Ella Kologiski, Rhett Shipley, Sutton Shipley, Emilio Vaquero and Riley Haynes. In addition to her family, she had many devoted lifelong friends that she cherished deeply.

There will be no formal services held. A private inurnment will be held at a later date in the Garden of the Gospels at Monte Vista Memorial Park.
