I´ve had the good fortune of knowing Martha Nell and Joan since "growing up" days in the Washington College/Limestone region.
In our later years, Martha Nell and I would, periodically, call to chat, and do a lot of reminiscing.
And...even more recent, my granddaughter, Sadie Bay Silvers, and I would pick up a bag of carrots and head for the pasture in front of Martha´s home(along Estes Creek) to pet and feed the horse and donkey. Martha gave us "freedom" to show up anytime. Of course, that was our delight. If Martha was home, she would come onto the porch to wave and say "hello".
Joan, Sadie Bay and I lift both you and Martha Nell, as well as rest of family, in our prayers.
PEACE and BLESSINGS,
Priscilla Estes Sarvadi

I´m so sorry. I have great memories of Martha Nell, Joan, and Sherry at Mur´s and Granddaddy´s especially at Christmas. I was a young girl and I thought they were the most beautiful, coolest teenagers and I wanted to be just like them. I still have my beautiful red dress when I was a junior bridesmaid in Martha Nell´s wedding. She was a very special person and loved by all who knew her.

She was one of a kind. Hard working woman, classy, smart, beautiful smile, loved everybody. She was an amazing woman. I'm glad to know she'll be with God and her husband now. May you rest in peace Martha Nell. I'll always love you and keep your memory going.
