JOHNSON CITY - Margie Dean Grindstaff, age 92, of Johnson City, TN, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at the Waters of Johnson City. She was born in Johnson City, Tennessee, a daughter of the late Horace Monroe Ledwell and Mary Josephine Light Ledwell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, William Paul "Bill" Grindstaff; one daughter, Sheron Boles; one granddaughter, Brittany Pritchard; one great-granddaughter, Kayla Goodman; one great-great-grandson, Mason Conner; two brothers, and one sister.
Margie had previously attended Keystone Freewill Baptist Church when her health allowed.
She is survived by her children, Kenneth Hodge, Barbara Furches, Cindy Abel, and Janis Swanner; her cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Richard Ledwell and Ron Ledwell; and extended family.
Committal Service and Interment will be held Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 11:00AM at Mountain Home National Cemetery with Chaplain Ron Land officiating. Pallbearers will be family.
