Madison Bowman Obituary

Madison Leigh-Grindstaff Bowman

August 8, 2025

JOHNSON CITY - Madison Leigh-Grindstaff Bowman of Johnson City, TN died tragically at the age of 39 on Friday, August 8th, 2025. She was a compassionate and loving member of the human race, and she was proud to be in a long line of strong Appalachian women.

She was an avid gardener, a terrific cook and a lover of all animals great and small. Her greatest love was her two sons, and she valued other people, especially those in need with less than she had.

She is survived by parents Gary and Jennifer Grindstaff (nee Ensor), brother Justin Grindstaff and his wife Rebekah, nephew Jared and niece Taylor Mears and her husband Sam, her sons Patrick Sexton and Charlie Bowman, and her devoted husband Joe Bowman who misses her dearly.

Madison's family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday August 15, 2025 at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. Followed by a memorial service at 8:00 p.m.
