GRAY - Linda Reed, 72, of Gray, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at her home. Born in Kingsport, she had resided in Gray since 1978. She was a member of Buffalo Ridge Baptist Church. Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Rosie Gentry; four sisters; and three brothers.
Linda is survived by her husband of 53 years, Dallas Reed: two daughters, Ann Poore and husband Billy, and Lisa Musser and husband Richard; son, Sam Reed and girlfriend Lisa Norris; four grandchildren, Tyler Lewis, Seth Drain, Ethan Reed, and Chelsea Aaron and husband Ryan; four great-grandchildren, Owen, Remi, Wes, and Axel; three brothers, Clyde Gentry, Kenneth Gentry and wife Carlos, and Johnny Gentry and wife Pam; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 25, 2023, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Ryan Shaffer officiating.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 26, 2023, at Hamlett-Dobson Memorial Park, 2630 TN 75, Blountville, Tennessee 37617.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
