Leslie Earp Obituary

JOHNSON CITY - Leslie John "Spud" Earp Jr., 54, of Johnson City, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023, at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was born to Cheryl (Norris) and Leslie John Earp Sr. Spud was a Heavy Equipment Operator until his health forced him into retirement.

Spud was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Betty (Combs) and Ralph Norris; paternal grandparents, Clara Ruth and Howard W. Earp; along with his son-in-law, James Pipkin.

In addition to his parents, Spud is survived by children, Jessica Pipkin, Leslie E. Earp, John Lee Earp, Jeremy Earp, Carl Millin, Morgan Earp and Micheal Coone; grandchildren, J.J. Pipkin, Lillian Pipkin, Elizabeth Miller, Matthew Miller and Alexander Miller; sisters, Kimberly Willis Earp and Beckie Bennett.

The Earp family will honor Spud's life with a Memorial Service on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, in the Parlor of Jonesborough Funeral Home beginning at 2 p.m.
