Sorry to hear about Larry. Offering condolences to Kevin, family and friends.
Miss the days of seeing Larry drive by on his tractor or working the fields and telling me he "found" one of my model rockets... Rest in peace Larry...

What a guy! Looking at this pic of him & I can hear his booming voice & his ornery-ness. My Dad (David McEwen) spoke often of his cousin Larry before his passing 4 years ago. They would have spirited talks on the phone & much laughter. Especially on their shared birthday. Our family visited the McEwen farm one summer & we all have such wonderful memories of staying with Larry, Chris, Kevin & Kerry. Larry was larger than life! A big loss for his family, friends & community. Love & prayers for you all.

Chris, Kerry and Kevin and families, I am so so sorry to hear of Larry’s passing! He and his family were great friends of me and my family as we both grew up! My Best memories were of our family adventures of snowmobiling on the McEwen farm in the harsh winters we used to have! Also the homemade ice cream and Grammy McEwen's homemade pies and cakes! RIP Larry! God Bless the entire McEwen family! Larry will be missed by many and remembered by all!

Chris, Kevin, Kerry & the entire family: You already know that Larry was a big man, with a big personality & even a bigger heart. His heart was so big, because it was filled with such pride & stories of his family. I will always remember his big laugh, his story telling abilities & his pride of his wife & all that she did for him. Chris, no one will ever be able to doubt anything you ever did for him. Your the reason, Larry fought the cancer & illness for so long. You gave him the ability to hold on & see Avery. Larry spoke of his 3 grandsons, his great granddaughter, Grace & he was holding on to see his great granddaughter, Avery. He was big in stature, but he was a man that could show his emotions thru tears, because he loved his family unconditionally. I know without a doubt, that Larry will live on as a Guardian Angel over the entire family. It's now up to the family to carry on the stories & the legacy, so no one ever forgets the man Larry was & the caring he had for this world. I'm thankful that Larry called my mom pretty much everyday, just to check in & see how she was feeling. That is the type of man Larry was. No matter how sick he got, he still remembered others pain & illness. It's true that God only created 1 Larry & it's sad, because the world needs more people like him. Chris, don't ever second guess any decision you made, because he knew you did everything for him. May Larry rest in peace & may God bless the entire family!

Dear Chris and the entire family.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to you for the loss of one special man. Your extra special care sure helped to get him through all the years of what he has faced
All i can say is in our house he will be missed more than words can say. We spent more mornings at the breakfast table while he had toast and went over the days news. After he wasn't up to coming everyday he made the phone call and his words were " what are you doing now " . So many conversations of " do you remember when " or " do you know who " those talks won't be anymore. Although it is hard to part with him we are glad to know he is with our Lord and at peace and free of pain. Bless all of you and bless Larry and remember we love you and miss you.
