JOHNSON CITY - Larry Dean Guinn, Jr., age 39, of Johnson City, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023.
A lifelong resident of Watauga, Larry was born on May 30, 1984, to Larry Dean Guinn, Sr. and Peggy Oliver.
Larry loved the outdoors and being outside. He enjoyed fast cars, and he liked dogs and chickens. He was a talented mechanic that could fix just about anything. Most of all, he loved his family; he was a loving father and husband. He was loved by many and he will be deeply missed.
Larry was preceded in death by his father, Larry Dean Guinn, Sr. and his uncle, Charles Guinn, Sr.
Those left to cherish Larry's memory include his mother, Peggy Oliver; wife, Heather Guinn; children, Brylon Guinn, Jayla Guinn, Layla Guinn, and Alaya Guinn; sisters, Melissa Guinn, Heather Guinn-Barnett, and Lindsay Guinn-Gray; brother-in-law and best friend, Scottie Barnett; and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Monday, December 11, 2023. The memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are directed to the family to offset funeral expenses by donating to the tribute fund link on the obituary page.
