Kevin J. Kennedy, 71, of Hazleton, passed away on Sunday at the Lehigh Valley Hazleton General Hospital.
Born in Hazleton he was a son of the late John and Benedicta (Malloy) Kennedy.
Kevin was a member of the Annunciation Parish at St. Gabriel’s Church.
Prior to retiring he worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 30 yrs and was a devoted Carolina Panthers fan. He was a loving son, brother and uncle who will be greatly missed.
Surviving are his brother John Kennedy and wife Susan and his sister Anne Schneider and husband William. Several nieces, great nephews and a great niece also survive.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 11am in the St. Gabriel’s Church.
Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday morning from 9-10:30 am at Fierro Funeral Home, 26 W. Second St. Hazleton.

Could someone tell me if Kevin graduated Dallas High School? I've been trying to contact him to no avail and confused on the obit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
