Kenneth "Smokie" Roberts July 15, 1947- July 17, 2024
Kenneth "Smokie" Roberts, 77, passed away peacefully in his home July 17, 2024, surrounded by his loving daughters. He was the strong provider and fierce defender of his family as well as an avid gardener and Master block mason.
Smokie was born on July 15, 1947, to the late Clarence and Wanoka Hoyle Roberts, in Washington County, Tennessee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Judy Carol Roberts and his oldest granddaughter, Whitney Leigh Hill.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Cheryl Vance (Jimmy), Leigh Ann Holt and Dana Young; his grandchildren, Lauren Holt, Kenneth Higgins, Spencer Southerland and Anna Young; his great-grandchildren, Bryson Broyles, Ellie Kate Hill, Juniper Hoss, Kentleigh Dunbar, Ava Caroline Dunbar and Banyan Lee Hoss; his faithful Miniature Schnauzer, Rebel Rose.
The family wishes to express heartfelt gratitude and thankfulness for Dr. Mousa Naseri, Dr. Robert Allen and the entire staff of the CVA Heart Institute who provided exceptional care for him.
