Kathryn Campbell Emmert December 27, 1930- July 27, 2024
ELIZABETHTON - Kathryn Campbell Emmert, 93, Elizabethton, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2024 in the Ivy Hall Nursing Home following an extended. She was born December 27, 1930 in Carter County to Oliver & Betty Howell Campbell. Kathryn was a graduate of Elizabethton High School. She was a retired Salesclerk with Wal-Mart for 20 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Claude T. Emmert who passed away June 12, 2008, a daughter Cindy Estep who passed away April 5, 2003, two brothers & sisters-in-law: John & Jean "Tootsie" Campbell and Bill & Henerett Campbell, a niece: Sandra Campbell and a nephew: Gary Campbell Kathryn was a member of Oak Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include a grandson: Zac Estep son of Mark Estep and the late Cindy Emmert Estep. One Nephew: Randy Campbell, and Two Nieces: Gena Bradley and Deborah Wyatt and two special friends: Lucy Ann Estep and Jearldine Vandeventer.
A Service to Celebrate the life of Kathryn Emmert will be conducted at 4 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with family members officiating. Interment will be Thursday in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Condolences may be sent to the family at our website www.memorial fcelizabethton.com.
