Katherine Lucy Davis September 27, 1956 - August 17, 2024
Katherine Lucy Davis, aged 67, passed away on August 17, 2024, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She departed peacefully at Johnson City Medical Center, under compassionate care through a most difficult time, surrounded by loved ones.
Born on September 27, 1956, in Winter Haven, Florida, Katherine touched the lives of those around her. Affectionately known as Kathy or Nonni, her selflessness and generosity knew no bounds, leaving a mark on the hearts of friends and family. Kathy's legacy of love will be cherished by all who met her.
Katherine Lucy Davis was preceded in death by her beloved parents Evelyn and Hobart Marvin Owen, Jr., sister and best friend Gail Owen, and brother Hobart Marvin Owen III, "Buddy".
Kathy is survived by her loving family, including her husband of 41 years Jasper "Jay" Davis, daughter Hillary and husband Matt Lambert, adored grandchildren Carson and Harper Lambert, daughter Melinda and husband Mike Lofton, grandkids Hailey Roberts, Garrett Kofmehl, and Trace Kofmehl, endeared brother Gary Owen, favorite nephew Kyle Norris, loving niece Mundai Pniak and family, and other extended family and friends. Kathy's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her and her strength will continue to inspire generations to come.
A celebration of Kathy's life will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Mountain Home National Cemetery in Johnson City. For those attending you are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:50 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Kathy's honor.
May Kathy rest in eternal peace, free from pain, and may she be remembered for the love and light she brought into the lives of others.
