September 19, 2025

Karen Ann (Parton) Thompson, age 66, of Gray, Tennessee, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, September 19, 2025, after an extended illness.

Karen was born to the late Sam and Mary Parton and was also cherished by her beloved foster parents, William Eli and Ruby Masters. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness and warmth touched everyone she met.

She is survived by her loving husband, Harold Thompson; her daughter, Danielle Stinson and husband Wes; her son, Mark Davis and wife Renea; her treasured grandchildren, Emily and Isaiah McCurry, Avery, Casen, and Kerigan Davis; her brother, Paul Parton; and her beloved niece, Tara Joe Davis. She was preceded in death by her parents and foster parents, who now welcome her into eternal rest.

Karen was a homemaker who poured her heart into caring for her family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, enjoyed the company of her pets, and had a passion for antiques and shopping. Known for her delicious cooking, her warm smile, and her gift of never meeting a stranger, Karen was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
