JONESBOROUGH -Julianne Lola "Judy" Mason, 82, of Jonesborough, passed away peacefully into the Lord's care on Friday evening, July 11, 2025. She was born on June 9, 1943, in Gastonia, NC, to the late Henry and Bessie Booth. Judy lived a life full of warmth, kindness, and devotion to those she held dear. She would always give to people and organizations in need, like the recent flood victims in TN and NC. She loved her family so much and would do anything for them, and she loved watching birds, viewing flowers, and all of God's creations.

In addition to her parents, Julianne was preceded in death by her loving husband, Russell Lee Mason; grandson, Grayson Morgan; siblings Cora Lee, Ossie, Mildred, Neil, Walt, Bob, Bud, and Jane.

She is survived by her three daughters, Melinda Morgan (Greg), Cathy Small (Doug), and Christy Hubbard (Bryan); her grandchildren, Scarlett Mason, J. Douglas Small, Alex Givens, Zachary Small, and Russell Cox (Ashely); great-grandchildren, Andon Mason, Alaina Mason, and Kylie Givens; brother, Walt Booth; sister, Dixie Hughes; her dearest friend, Shirley Hubbard; along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

The Mason family will gather to greet friends and share memories on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, in the Parlor of Jonesborough Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. A Graveside Service will follow the Visitation in Mountain Home National Cemetery with Rev. Don Hilton officiating beginning at 2:00 p.m. Members of Judy's family will serve as pallbearers.

We, her daughters, will forever carry her love in our hearts. Mom, you are so wonderful and loving. You will forever be missed.
