Judy Theresa Fox
September 20, 1951 - February 16, 2023
Roseville, California - Born Sept 20, 1951, passed from this world Feb 16, 2023 with her two daughters at her side.
Judy lived a life with no regrets. She was fiercely independent, irreverently funny, feisty as heck and incredibly brave to the very end.
She attended Mercy High School in Burlingame, California and took a job at the San Francisco museum of witchcraft upon graduation, after which she had a long career at Hewlett Packard.
She helped cultivate a ranch in Lincoln, California with horses, pigs, chickens, ducks, geese, goats, rabbits, dogs and cats.
She was an artist, drawing and painting horses, making kaleidoscopes, and modeling tiny mice in clay. She was also an environmentalist, a member of many organizations.
Upon retiring she traveled the world and partied with her beloved 'goddess' friends.
She filled her library with books about the occult including a collection of artistic (and realistic) skulls, with a tiny real stuffed bat on her mantel next to the witches broom she so artfully crafted...and a large plushie bat that would invariably knock us in the head every time we had to make a trip to the cellar. She even made a 'vampire chest' complete with a rosary and daggers during her final year of life...but we doubt she would want to cause a vampire any harm...
She emphatically said she wouldn't change anything about her life, even the bad. Upon hearing that we'd cry every day for the rest of our lives after she died, she quipped "No you won't! Remember, I lived a good life."
Judy is predeceased by her father, mother and aunt, and the little bat on the mantel. She is survived by her daughters Rachel and Nicole, two sisters, and grandsons Tyler and Juniper.
