Joyce Chapman Butler, age 70, entered into the nearer presence of our Lord on Sunday, August 31st, 2025. Services will be held Saturday, October 4th, 2025, at 11a.m. at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 815 E 2nd Street Elizabethton, TN 37643, with food and fellowship to follow.

Joyce was the most wonderful cousin. She was smart, funny & the life of the party always!! Last year all the girl cousins on the Sealy side drove from Memphis to visit Joyce & Jim for a few days. We loved seeing their beautiful home, visiting antique shops and just having a great time! They served us prime rib & extended super hospitality. Every corner of their house had interesting & unique items. The balcony had birdfeeders & a fabulous view of the mountains. It was a one of a kind trip to see our special cousins that will live forever in my memory, as will Joyce.
