JOHNSON CITY - Jonathan C. Shaffer, 56, a vibrant and passionate gamer and beloved friend, passed away peacefully in Johnson City, Tennessee on October 1, 2023. Known for his unwavering love for digital camaraderie, he spent countless hours sharing laughter and victory with online friends, who fondly referred to him as Juggling Hamster, and previously, Sticky Hamster.
His adventurous spirit shone brightly within the gaming community where he freely expressed his creativity, strategy, and resilience. Beyond his virtual avatar, Jonathan was cherished by his peers for his compassionate kindness, lively humor, and positive attitude. His passing due to CVA has left a deep void in this dynamic world he inhabited.
The light of Jonathan's life will continue to glow within the pixelated landscapes and exhilarating challenges where his friends gather. His joyous nature, reflected in the vibrant moniker of Juggling Hamster, is indelibly etched within this digital realm. Even in the face of loss, his legacy of camaraderie and courage lives on.

Jonathan "Sticky" was a big part of our community; from testing to streaming, he was always ready to help out where needed.
We will miss his activity and his personality in our community, but his spirit will live on there and indeed in our game forever.
He will be missed by us and many others.

Really kind soul who loved telling wonderful stories on stream with a hearty laugh, to the enjoyment of many. I hope that he will be able to continue sharing his stories in Heaven full of the joy and passion that he have spread on earth.
