JOHNSON CITY – John W. Wilson, age 86, passed away at home on November 16, 2023 after a long battle with cancer.
He worked as a heating and air conditioner service tech. He worked at Coca Cola, S.B. White Co. and retired from Mountain Home V.A. after 22 years.
Survivors include wife of 62 years, Marie V. Wilson; daughter, Lisa Wilson Peters; grandson, Jonathan Peters (Brekken Renee Quintana); great-granddaughter, Shiloh Rain Peters; a niece and nephews.
He was the son of the late Estill and Sallie Wilson. He was a faithful member of Pinecrest Baptist Church.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 – 5:00 PM on Friday, November 24 at Pinecrest Baptist Church. A celebration of life will be held at 5:00 PM with Rev. Gary Edwards officiating.
