I am sorry to hear of John's passing. I worked with him at Kingsport Press around 1964, '65, or 1966. I don't remember the exact year. we rode together to work & back some when we worked the same shift. He was a friendly person, smiled a lot. He wanted a Harley Davidson Sportster when they first came out. I don't remember is he got it or not. I hope he did and enjoyed riding it. I would occasionally run into him years later and we would share some stories together. He will certainly be missed. He was a really good person.
