November 23, 2024

Joanne Ingraham, age 70, entered the kingdom of Heaven on November 23, 2024.

She was born on March 19, 1954 to the late Herbert Lewis Sr., and Dorthy Hendrix Lewis.

She was a member of Bethel Church of Christ and loved her church family.

In addition to her parents, Joanne was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years Edward Ingraham, brothers Buford Lewis and Herbert Lewis Jr, and sisters Regina Maupin, Wanda Martin, and Irene Moore.

She is survived by son Kevin Slagle, daughter Alexandra Warmath (Zach), grandson Aidan Warmath, brothers Dale Lewis (Mary Ruth) and Gary Lewis (Darlene), sister Cheryl Miller, and many loved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Joanne was one of my best friends in grade school. We rode the same bus to school. I had not seen her in many years until about 5 years ago we got reacquainted at my husband's class reunion where her church provided our meal. It was great seeing her and catching up. I wait for the day we can get reacquainted again over in Gloryland. Until then my dear friend!!

Joanne was a blessing to know. She had a gift of always making you smile and laugh. I am so glad God placed her in my life. She taught me so many things. Serving others was her gift from God. She is celebrating in heaven now with our Lord and Savior. She will always be in my heart and the fun times we had decorating the church, and fellowshipping together. Joanne was kind to everyone and I will cherish all of our memories. Thank you Jesus for sharing Joanna with us.
