Jesse Neal Obituary

LENOIR CITY - Jesse W. Neal, 76, passed away Saturday July 15, 2023, at his residence in Lenoir City, TN. He was born and raised in Johnson City, TN. Jesse served in the US Army and was in the Vietnam War. He was of the Baptist faith. He loved to watch sports, especially the UT Volunteers. He is preceded in death by his parents Jess J. Neal and Hazel E. Baxley Neal, brothers Sam Neal and James (Zeke) Neal, sisters Rosalie (Rosie) Harvey, Sylvia Osborne, Wanda Hodges and Verna (Honey) Miller. One sister, Maryland Holder, passed away one week after Jesse. Survivors include his sister Joan Chaffin of Loudon, TN and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will take place at 2 pm on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at Monte Vista Memorial Park. Condolences may be left by visiting www.morrisbaker.com. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I remember him when we were kids even though he was a fare years older than me all of us hung and when we were younger. His dad and my papaw Lon Neal was brothers. He was always joking and making us laugh. Fly home with the angels smiling.
