Jerry Keplinger Obituary

HOMASSASSA, FL - Jerry Lynn Keplinger, 70, of Homassassa, FL, formerly of Jonesborough, died peacefully at his home on Friday, January 31, 2025, after a brief illness. He was born to the late Rosa Dean Keplinger. Jerry was born and raised in Jonesborough, but lived most of his life in Florida. He was a member of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to his mother, Jerry was preceded in death by his brother, Eddie Dean; and a stepson, Jonathan Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Austin Keplinger, of Florida; daughter, Marilynn Keplinger; sister, Wilma Adams; brothers, Sherrill and William "Bill" Keplinger, all of Jonesborough; stepson, Robert Snider (Virginia); along with several nieces and nephews.
Jerry will be laid to rest on April 26, 2025, in Keplinger – Cherry Grove Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.
