TELFORD - Jennifer Ann Smith, age 39, of Telford, TN, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at Johnson City Medical Center, following a brief illness.
Jennifer was known for her profound love for her family and friends, whose company she cherished dearly. She found joy and solace in the simplicity of nature, often embracing the tranquility of kayaking, fishing, and the great outdoors. She also had a passion for cooking.
She will be remembered as a devoted mother, daughter, and friend, her love and kindness touching the lives of all who knew her.
Jennifer is preceded in death by her beloved son, Noah Clayton Smith, and her grandparents, Herbert (Pete) & Mary (Lee) Atchley, and Lester & Mary Mathes.
She is survived by her cherished daughter, Madison Abigayle; loving parents, Randy Sr. & Gloria Mathes; brothers, Randy Mathes II, and David Foster & wife Samantha; special brother, Michael Laws & wife Sarah; aunt & uncle, Paula & Keith Hylton; special friends, Gary & Terry Hendershot; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jennifer was dearly loved by her family and friends, her memory cherished in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A Memorial/Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to honor and celebrate Jennifer's remarkable life.
