Jeffrey Keith Clark, age 68, passed away on November 5, 2025, at Signature Health Care after a lengthy illness and courageous battle with cancer.
Born February 4, 1957, Jeff was the son of the late Byrl and Kansas Clark. He was a 1974 graduate of Hampton High School, where he was known as an accomplished athlete in football. Jeff later enjoyed a long and successful career as an iron millwright, retiring after 40 dedicated years.
Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved daughters, Amanda Clark and Jessica Clark Madden, and his treasured grandchildren, Beckett, Gabriella (Sissy), and Baylen, who were the joy of his life. He is also survived by his sister, Linda "Sissy"Abel (Larry); brother, Byrl Clark, Jr.; nephews Larry Abel, Jr. (Kim) and Chris Clark; nieces Deanna Abel Johnson, Joy Abel, Kelsey Johnson, and Keaton Smithdeal (Joseph).
Other special family members include Carolyn Clark, Gina Reynolds, and Pam Whitaker. Jeff shared a close bond with his faithful dog, Sadie, and his dear friend Charlie Miller. He also leaves behind several cherished cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Clark; parents, Byrl and Kansas Clark; grandparents Arthur and Nola Clark, and Ezekial and Myrtle Garland; his stepson, Jamie Chapple. And his friend: Carl Calhoun.
A graveside service will be held at Berry Cemetery, Hampton, Tennessee, on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. with Dwayne Calhoun and Lenny Smith, Ministers officiating.
Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
Honorary pallbearers are Larry Abel, Sr., Charlie Miller, Rev. Lenny Smith, Rev. Kenneth Grindstaff, Rev. Randy Johnson, Rev. Mark Street, Mark Potter, Dwayne Calhoun, and Frank Cross.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Berry Cemetery, 1238 Simerly Creek Rd., Hampton, TN 37658. Special thanks to Signature Health at Pine Ridge and Debbie Street for the special love and care provided to Jeff in his final days. Family and friends will at the cemetery at 1:45 p.m. Sunday.
