Jeffrey Campbell Obituary

HAMPTON - Jeffrey Scott Campbell, 58, Hampton, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at the Sycamore Shoals Hospital. He was born April 5, 1965, in Carter County. Jeffrey was a 1984 graduate of Hampton High School. He worked at Jarl Extrusions, Alcoa for 19 years, Snap-On Tools at Johnson City and retired from Flora at Eastman. Jeff loved to fish, play his guitar, collect football cards, watch pro football and travel with his wife and son. He was preceded in death by his father Lewis T. Campbell and a brother, Roger Campbell. Jeff was a member of Hampton Christian Church.

Survivors include his mother, Glenda Jean Stout Campbell; his beloved wife of 34 years, Darlene Wilson Campbell; son, Jeffrey Scott Campbell II; nephews Christopher and Brandon Campbell, several other nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Johnny Lewis.

A Memorial Service to Celebrate Jeff's Life will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Hampton Christian Church with Mr. Dwayne Calhoun officiating. Church is located behind Hampton High School. Friends will also be received at his residence in Hampton. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church prior to the service.
