Jeanette Hampton Quillen October 31, 1950- September 18, 2024
ERWIN - Jeanette Hampton Quillen, age 73, of Erwin, passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at Christian Care Center of Erwin. Mrs. Quillen is a native of Erwin and a daughter of the late Warren G. and Daris (Phillips) Hampton. Jeanette was a member of Pathway Free Will Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing and working with her flowers. In addition to her parents, Jeanette is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy R. Quillen; mother-in-law, Winnie Quillen; brother-in-law, Kenneth Higgins; sisters-in-law, Lucille Tesnear and Luella Higgins.
Jeanette Hampton Quillen has left behind to cherish her memory: son, Joseph Ray Quillen and wife, April; daughter, Kimberly Quillen; grandchildren, Kristal Wilson, Joseph Ray Quillen, II, Leah Faith Quillen; sister-in-law, Finetta Quillen; grand dogs, Harper and Chip; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express sincere thanks to the staff of Christian Care and Amedisys Hospice for all of the love and care.
The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Jeanette Hampton Quillen in a graveside committal service to be held at 11:00 am on Monday, September 23, 2024 in Evergreen Cemetery. Reverend Jacob Shelton, Reverend Danny Hughes, and Reverend Kevin Laws will officiate. Those who wish to attend the committal service should meet at Evergreen Cemetery by 10:50 am on Monday, September 23, 2024.

Jeanette was a great lady and was always very good to me while I was young and raising my children in church. I am so sorry for your loss and you are all in my prayers. I love you all!
