Jaynee Indresano Obituary

JAYNEE SUE INDRESANO

February 25, 1945 – August 28, 2024

Bakersfield – Jaynee was born February 25, 1945 in Hollywood, California and passed away on August 28, 2024, she was 79 years old.

Jaynee grew up with her parents Jay and Daphne Budworth and her 2 sisters, Beatrice and Barbara in Van Nuys, California. She was a cherished mother to her two children and was a wonderful wife of 56 years to her husband Richard Indresano.

She is survived by her husband Rich Indresano, her 2 children Gina Kehr and Rich Indresano and 4 grandchildren Richard Indresano (21), Gabriella Kehr (19), Blaisen Kehr (16) and Isabella Indresano (15).

Jaynee had a wonderful childhood. During her youth and young adult years Jaynee was an elite majorette, performing and competing all over the world. Some of her accomplishments are performing with the Robin Hood Band, the Los Angeles Rams, Dodgers and Lakers and The Mickey Mouse Club as a mouseketeer. In 1967 she met and married her husband and in 1969 started her family. They moved to Bakersfield in 1977 where she worked as a bank teller and then in accounting at Dole Fresh Fruit. While working full time and raising her family she decided to get her bachelor's degree in business. She went on to get a teaching credential and finished her professional career after 20 years as an elementary school teacher. Known as Mrs. I, she retired from teaching in 2020 at the start of the pandemic from Longfellow Elementary. She battled breast cancer in 2009 and in 2022 was diagnosed with late stage lung cancer.

Jaynee had a core group of friends through the game of bunco with the motto, "deeper than dice." She was fun, tenacious, hard working and always put others first. She was a wonderful wife, mother and friend and will be sorely missed by anyone who knew her.

There will be a celebration of life on October 19, 2024, if interested in attending, please contact Gina Kehr at [email protected]
