Janis Anderson Obituary
JONESBOROUGH - Miss Janis Marie Anderson, age 93, Jonesborough, passed away Friday, July 21, 2023, at her residence.
Miss Anderson was born August 28, 1929, in Washington County and the daughter of the late Hugh M. & Monta Sylvester Anderson. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Stanley Anderson and William Fain Anderson.
She was a member of Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church.
Miss Anderson was a graduate of East Tennessee State University and a teacher in the Knoxville city schools.
Friends may come by Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home from 10:00-10:30 AM, Monday, July 24, 2023, to view and sign the register. Graveside services will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
