James Willis Obituary

GREENEVILLE - James L. "Bud" Willis, 69, of Greeneville, TN, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 12, 2023. Bud was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. He worked at MECO as a tool and die setup person for over 30 years. Bud loved working on cars, gardening, and yard work. He was a friend to many and will be missed by all.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents, Max and Thelma Willis and sister, Betty "Tootsie" Silvers.

Survivors include his children, Stephanie Miller and husband Danny and Connie Worley and husband Ken; grandchildren, Whitney Johnson and husband Jonathan, Dylan Drum, Heather Hill and husband Ryan, David Worley and wife Jalissa and Daniel Worley; great-grandchildren, Luke Hill and Emma Hill; siblings, Billy Willis and wife Geneva and Kathy Davis; several nieces and nephews; special caregiver and Mother of his children, Imogene Silvers and caregiver, Peggy Eastep.

A Celebration of Life service and gathering of friends will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Limestone FWB Church.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to Life Care Center of Greeneville and Amedysis Hospice for their loving care of our Dad.
