James F. Lamprecht, 91, passed away on December 30, 2024.
James was born in Hartford Connecticut on April 18, 1932. He was son to the late Marion and Daniel Lamprecht.
James was a United States Army veteran that served during the Korean conflict, with the 1st Infantry Division. He was stationed in Germany.
He was a member of the American Legion Post #24, as well as Chapter#9 D.A.V. of Johnson City, TN.
In addition to his parents James was preceded in death by his loving wife Betty; son, Mark James and four brothers, Daniel, Jack, Richard, and George Lamprecht.
James is survived by his two daughters, Sheryl Andrews and husband Rod, Jennifer Lamprecht of Bloomfield, CT; grandson, Mark of Portland, CT.
A graveside committal service for Mr. James Lamprecht will be conducted at 3:00pm at Mountain Home National Cemetery on Thursday, January 11, 2024. Minister, family, and friends are requested to meet at the cemetery by 2:50pm. Military honors will be conducted by VFW Boone Dam Post #4933.
