J.C. Ratliff Obituary
JONESBOROUGH - Mr. J.C. Ratliff, age 83, Jonesborough, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2023, after a battle with cancer.
Mr. Ratliff was born July 7, 1939, in Jonesborough, TN and the son of the late Thurman & Lunnie Broyles Ratliff.
Throughout his life J.C. enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, hunting, and talking about great times he had with his many friends and coworkers. J.C. worked hard his entire life to provide for his family. He was a member of Nolichucky Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Bertha Mae Phillips Ratliff; daughter, Karen Ratliff; son, Marvin Ratliff and his wife, Lena; sisters, JoAnn Fender, Bonnie Fender and her husband, Carroll, Jess May Fellers and her husband, Bud; brother, Don Ratliff and his wife Mamie; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 8, 2023, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Phillips officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 PM Saturday prior to the service. Interment services will follow at Sevier's Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
