Ivy Dykes Obituary

JONESBOROUGH - Ivy Ann Dykes, 63, of Jonesborough, passed away on Sunday morning, April 20, 2025, at Greeneville Community Hospital after a period of declining health. She was born to the late Martin Darrell and Nellie Ruth (Bruner) Dykes. Ivy was a member of McKinley Memorial Bible Church. She loved her family very much, and enjoyed collecting miniatures and playing on her tablet. In addition to her parents, Ivy was preceded in death by one brother, Tony Dykes.
She is survived by her siblings, Lisa Dykes, Tommy Dykes, Tammy Percell (Gordon); special nephew, Tony "Tad" Dykes; along with several other nieces and nephews.
The Dykes family will gather to greet friends and share memoires on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Jonesborough Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Lenny Smith officiating. Committal Service and Interment will be Thursday, April 24, 2025, in Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery beginning at 11:00 a.m. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Everyone who wishes to attend the Committal Service is asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:30 a.m. on Thursday to go in procession to the cemetery.
