BLUFF CITY - Iva Waller, 75, of Bluff City, Tennessee was surrounded by family at her home when she was called to Heaven on January 22, 2025.

In her younger years Iva enjoyed going to auctions, crafting, and making up stories to share with others. Other hobbies included working in her flower bed, cooking and baking cakes. Iva never met a stranger and tried to help anyone in any way she could. She would often adopt individuals from nursing homes and shower them with gifts and quality time because she never wanted anyone to feel alone.

Iva loved the Lord and her biggest accomplishment was letting others know of Him. She sang with Anchored in Christ for several years, traveling to share the love of Jesus to everyone she could.

Iva was a hard worker and always wanted to stay busy. She worked at Parks Belk for many years before starting at Tri - Cities Skin and Cancer where she retired from in 2024. After retirement she loved going on trips with her girls, meeting friends for lunch and spending time with her loved ones.

Preceding her in death is her husband, John Waller of Johnson City; parents, Reverend Woodrow Morrell (Iva Mae); and brothers, Vernon, Johnny and Lavon.

Those left to carry on her love are her sons, Donavan and wife Markie and Brandon Waller; six grandchildren, Karah and Skye Waller, Zoe Waller, Billy Robertstad, Josh Schmidt and Samantha Nidiffer; great grandchildren, Xavier, Amberlin, Mason, Kaiden and many more; brother, Reverend Don Morrell; sisters, Sharon Curtis and Cookie (Marie) and husband Joe Smith; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service to celebrate Iva's homegoing will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 27, 2025 in Sunrise Cemetery with Reverend Dwayne Locklear officiating. Iva's granddaughter, Karah will speak at the service. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at Tetrick Funeral Home of Bluff City at 1:30 PM on Monday to go in procession to the cemetery.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Amedisys Hospice for all the loving care they have provided during this difficult time.
