Mr. Hugo Cordova Morales August 1, 2024
JONESBOROUGH - Mr. Hugo Cordova Morales, age 55, Jonesborough, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2024, at the Johnson City Medical Center, Johnson City TN.
Hugo was born in Mexico to the late J. Rosario Cordova Cruz and Lucila Morales Sanchez, he was also preceded in death by Jose Cordova, Maria Cordova, Raul Cordova, Benjamin Cordova and Josefina.
Hugo loved Mexican music, dining out, making people laugh, landscaping, soccer, and NASCAR racing. Hugo was a hard worker, a fighter and loving father.
Survivors include his wife, Maria Carrizales, son, Hugo Gabriel Cordova, stepdaughter, Julissa Virgen; brothers and sisters, Rogelio Cordova, Alejandro Cordova, Rosario Cordova, Esthela Cordova, Ruben Cordova; sister-in-law Leslie Burchfield; longtime friends, Frank Sell, David Sell and family, and Barbara Yokley, many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Hugo will be Thursday August 8, 2024 7:00 PM at Jonesborough Funeral Home with Evangelist Toonie Cash officiating. The family will receive family and friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM prior to the service. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday August 10, 2024 11:00AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church.
