JONESBOROUGH - Mr. Henry Carl Reaves, age 85, of Jonesborough, TN, passed away at his home on Sunday, October 22, 2023, surrounded by family.
Henry was born to the late Carl and Emily Stockton Reaves, on December 2, 1937.
He was a devout Christian and was a member and greeter at Cherry Grove Baptist Church. Henry proudly served his country in the US Navy and was an operator for Nuclear Fuel Services.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Pat Reaves; son, Alan Keith Reaves; daughters, Sandy Lamb (Ronnie) and Karen Huffine; grandchildren, Jessica Reaves, Lindsey Huffine, Amy Thompson (Randy), Katie Sanders (Jordan); six great-grandchildren; brother, Randal Reaves (Doris); sisters, Ellen Rainwater and Nancy Ferrell; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at Cherry Grove Cemetery, with Rev. Tommy Clark officiating. Friends may come by the funeral home on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, to view and sign the register from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Pallbearers will be David Hopson, Matthew Scalf, Carroll Fender, Jordan Sanders, Everett Scott and Ronnie Lamb.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cherry Grove Baptist Church, 104 Cherry Grove Road, Jonesborough, TN, 37659.
