BUTLER - Harvey Frank Shupe, age 77 of Old Highway 67, Butler, Tennessee passed away peacefully at his house on August 27, 2024. He was a lifelong resident of Butler and son of the late Frank Odell Shupe and Alice Faustena Garland Shupe.

Mr. Shupe was a member of Dyson Grove Baptist Church. He was a dedicated Christian man who loved the Lord and always put the Lord first in his life. "Frankey" enjoyed the simple life and spending quality time with his family and friends, always willing to help others in time of need. Back in his early years, he was a skilled carpenter and helped build many homes; and enjoyed fishing with his friends. In his retirement years, working in the garden and taking much pride in his yard was his daily enjoyment.

Survivors are his wife, Bebbie Farmer Morley Shupe; daughter, Melissa Shupe Click; step-son, Chris Morley and wife Beth; sister, Barbara Shupe; brothers, Glenn Shupe and wife Wanda, Benny Shupe and wife Mary; step-grandsons, Ethan and Leland Morley; great grandson, Brooks Click and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Janet Shupe Rupard, Emaline Shupe Nichols; brothers, Mitchell Shupe, Jim Shupe and Marshal Shupe.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Dyson Grove Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Leonard Fletcher, Pastor Eddie Smith, and Pastor Mike Fenner. Music will be provided by Dyson Grove Baptist Church Choir. The graveside service and burial will follow at the church cemetery. Leading pallbearer will be his great grandson, Brooks Click, Jeff Rupard, Ron Shupe, Brian Shupe, Bill Heck, Donald Bowman, Chris Morley, Ethan and Leland Morley. Honorary pallbearers are Tom Farmer, Darrell Colson, Melvin Huyard, Truett Pleasant, and Dr. Floyd Barker.
